How can I get financial assistance
Help may be closer than you think. Financial assistance is available through patient support programs designed to improve access to EPIDIOLEX for eligible patients, including the copay savings program.
EPIDIOLEX is widely accessible, with coverage for 97% of patients nationwide across commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare plans.
For many patients, affordability isn’t a barrier. In fact, 9 out of 10 people prescribed EPIDIOLEX pay $0 out of pocket, regardless of insurance type.

Who may qualify for copay assistance?
*Eligibility criteria:
- A legal resident of the United States or Puerto Rico
- Commercially insured (patients are not eligible for this program if they are receiving prescription reimbursement for EPIDIOLEX under Medicare Part D, Medicaid, Medigap, VA/DoD [TRICARE] programs, the Indian Health Service, or any other federal or state-funded healthcare program, or where prohibited by law)

See below for full terms and conditions.† No enrollment is required. Eligibility is assessed as part of the standard benefit investigation process performed by the pharmacy. Any copay benefit will be automatically deducted from the patient’s copay. The copay savings program is not prescription coverage or insurance. Patients cannot seek reimbursement from health insurance or any third party for any part of the benefit received by the patient through this program.

Eligible patients may pay as low as $0 per EPIDIOLEX prescription. Monthly and/or annual maximum limits may apply. The copay savings program is only available for residents of the United States or Puerto Rico with a domestic mailing address (no P.O. boxes) who have commercial insurance coverage with out-of-pocket expenses, including copayments, co-insurance, and deductibles. The copay savings program is not valid for beneficiaries of Medicare, Medicaid, VA/DoD (TRICARE) programs, the Indian Health Service or other federal or state healthcare programs, if patient pays for prescription in cash or if patient chooses not to use their insurance coverage. The copay savings program requires a valid, signed prescription for EPIDIOLEX. The pharmacy will bill patient’s insurance for the portion that patient’s insurance plan has agreed to cover. The copay savings program is not health insurance. The pharmacy, patient, or prescriber cannot submit a claim for reimbursement under any federal, state, or other governmental programs or to any third party for any part of the benefit received by the patient through the copay savings program. By using this offer, patients or their representative certify that they will comply with any terms of their health insurance contract requiring notification to their payer of the existence and/or value of this offer. How EPIDIOLEX gets delivered to you
From prescription to your doorstep in 3 steps
Now that you’ve been prescribed EPIDIOLEX, you’re probably eager to get started. Here’s what comes next:
Step 1
Your doctor sends the prescription to a specialty pharmacy
Your doctor and staff will submit your prescription. It will be sent to the specialty pharmacy that works with your insurance to determine coverage.
Step 2
Expect a call from the pharmacy
Be sure to have your insurance and prescription information handy when the pharmacy calls.
You can also talk to your specialty pharmacy about the best way to communicate (phone, email, or text).
Look out for a 1-800 number or local number.
You may not recognize the phone number, but it’s important to answer the phone when the pharmacy calls to avoid delays with your EPIDIOLEX shipment.
Step 3
The prescription is delivered to your door
Once your insurance coverage is confirmed, the prescription will be filled and the medicine will be shipped directly to your house.
The aim is to get your prescription filled and delivered to you as quickly as possible, though processing times may vary.
Specialty pharmacies have expertise in preparing and filling medicines like EPIDIOLEX. They fill FDA-approved prescriptions just as traditional pharmacies do. Certain specialty pharmacies can ship your medicine to a local store for pickup. If you are interested in this option, talk to your specialty pharmacy to find out more.
