EPIDIOLEX is an oral solution that is taken twice daily. Food may affect EPIDIOLEX levels, so be sure to take EPIDIOLEX consistently with or without food.

EPIDIOLEX dosing is personalized based on your weight
EPIDIOLEX is an oral solution that is taken twice daily. Your doctor may adjust your dose based on your response to EPIDIOLEX and whether you are experiencing side effects.
Your doctor may start you or your loved one on a lower dose of EPIDIOLEX and gradually increase it, helping you monitor seizures and manage any side effects that may come up along the way.
Starting EPIDIOLEX dose
When starting EPIDIOLEX, your doctor may begin with a lower dose and slowly increase the amount of medicine to reach the dose they believe is right for you.
Continuing treatment
Once that dose is reached, your doctor will evaluate your response to the medication.
EPIDIOLEX dose adjustments
If needed, your doctor may adjust your dose based on your response to EPIDIOLEX and your individual treatment needs.

Important information for taking EPIDIOLEX
Don’t stop taking your medication without consulting your doctor
You should take EPIDIOLEX exactly as your doctor tells you. Do not stop taking EPIDIOLEX without first talking to your doctor. Stopping an antiseizure medicine suddenly can cause serious problems.
Tell your doctor about other medications
Be sure to tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines so he or she can take that into account when creating your dosing schedule.
Your doctor may order blood work
Your doctor may also request blood work to evaluate liver function before you start and during treatment.
